I had to buy a new pair of shoes. Oh, the trauma of it all! I’d rather go barefoot. I’ve been wearing Birkenstock’s for about 15 years and when I’m in the house I do go barefoot. But I work in a building with tile-covered cement floors and I do a lot of walking on that cement. By the end of the day my feet are swollen and painful. I came down with a fever Friday night and was shaking so hard I couldn’t read my book. Well, that’s about it for now. Need to go lie down. Hope your weekend was better than mine.

I went back to work in January after what seemed like an interminable round of interviews with virtually no response. I like my job and seem to be pleasing my boss and the others with whom I work. It is rarely dull and there are many interesting personalities with which to interact. This part of my life is moving on and it is good. Read the rest of this entry »
